President’s letter
At the ACO we decided to lighten our end of the year load by
writing a single November/December Holiday issue rather than
two regular monthly issues. Read the rest of the presid0nt's
musing on celebrating our combined efforts of the past, our
hopes for the future. Members can read it here.
2008 ACO Conference
You can
register now for the 2008 ACO conference. Early bird registration costs just $325 for members and $375 for non members. This covers all the food and snacks for Saturday and Sunday.
We are excited to announce that our key note speaker will be Judith Kohlberg author of, among other books and articles, ADD Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life.
New Book on Adult ADHD
If you add one book to your collection this year, try
Integrative Treatment for Adult ADHD: A Practical, Easy-To-Use Guide for Clinicians.

You say potAto, I say potAWto
There’s been a lot of conversation lately on the [ACO members] list serve about the beauty or ugliness of ADHD. Glen Hogard wrote a wonderful piece likening the coaching of people with ADHD to dealing with a thorny rose. Read more here.

Member Gayla Wilson got a TV show!
We’re talking a real show here, not one she has to pay to have. The FOX station in Idaho has her slated for a three show pilot. How did she get the gig and how can you can use what she’s learned? Click here.
ADDA regional conferences
The ACO was represented at three out of the four fall regional conferences. We do this to help advertise the ACO as the place to find ADHD coaches as well as to attract new members. Read the whole article and see pictures here.
Plagiarism on the web
You might know that you own the copyrights to your work as soon as you produce it. You might even know that you don’t NEED to register your work. But do you know how to find who’s copying you? And do you know what to do about that?
