President’s letter
At the ACO we decided to lighten our end of the year load by writing a single November/December Holiday issue rather than two regular monthly issues. Read the rest of the presid0nt's musing on celebrating our combined efforts of the past, our hopes for the future. Members can read it here.

2008 ACO Conference
You can register now for the 2008 ACO conference. Early bird registration costs just $325 for members and $375 for non members. This covers all the food and snacks for Saturday and Sunday.

We are excited to announce that our key note speaker will be Judith Kohlberg author of, among other books and articles, ADD Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life.

New Book on Adult ADHD
If you add one book to your collection this year, try Integrative Treatment for Adult ADHD: A Practical, Easy-To-Use Guide for Clinicians.  by Ari Tuckman, clinical psychologist. He sums up, in a highly readable way, all the stuff we as ADHD Coaches need to know to educate ourselves and our clients about ADHD. Read the rest of the review here.

There’s been a lot of conversation lately on the [ACO members] list serve about the beauty or ugliness of ADHD. Glen Hogard wrote a wonderful piece likening the coaching of people with ADHD to dealing with a thorny rose. Read more here.

ADDA regional conferences
